Inter Caribbean Hash 2024

Grenada Hash House Harriers will be hosting a 1 week Inter Caribbean Hash from Tuesday 11th June to Sunday 16th June 2024. There will be a different hash or event every day, with the main hash on Saturday 15th June 2024 which happens to be our 1300th hash.

Interhash Itinerary 11- 16 June 2024

Tuesday 11th June.
Opening ceremony 6pm start at Alamanda on Grand Anse beach, meet and greet everyone. There will be food and drinks for sale. Visiting hashers can pay their registration fee (USD120 / XCD325) and collect their welcome packs and Tshirts. Please note payment must be in cash USD or XCD. You will receive a vinyl wristband that is to be worn for the duration of the Interhash, this allows you free transportation to all the events and free food & drinks for certain events.

Wednesday 12th
Hash at Westerhall Rum Estate 4.00pm On On.
Buses for visiting hashers will leave Umbrella’s parking lot at 2:30pm.
Live band, rum tasting, food & drinks.

Thursday 13th
A round Island trip or a mountain hike
Option 1: A round Island trip followed by a beach bar lime at Esthers. Buses will leave Umbrella’s parking lot at 9am. There will be a lunch & beer stop at Davy beach in the North of the island before heading back down south to Esther’s beach bar for a bar lime. Bring some cash for beers and food at lunch and bar stops

Option 2: Mt St Catherine hike one-way from Mt Horne to Victoria. Mt St Catherine is the highest mountain in Grenada and this is a 4-5 hour steep up and down hike. Please note that this hike is only for the very fit and adventurous hasher, there are steep precipices, rope sections, cliff edges and lots of slippery mud. Lunch & beer stop in Victoria before heading back to a beach bar lime at Esther’s. Bring some cash for beer and lunch stop and carry water and snacks for the hike.
Bus will leave Umbrellas parking lot at 9am.
NOTE: You must pre-register with Tanya on Tuesday or Wednesday if you want to join in this hike.

Friday 14th
It will be a one way hash starting around Mt Carmel and finishing at Hope Beach for a beach lime. 9.00am start for the buses from Umbrellas.

Saturday 15th.
1300th Hash. Venue Hermitage. 3.00pm On On.
Buses will leave Umbrella’s at 1:00pm
5 trails: Ironman 5.5 miles
Long Runners: 4.5 miles
Short Runners: 3.5 miles
Long Walkers: 2.5 miles
Short Walkers: 1.5 miles
Great trails with rivers and fantastic views, good food and music

Sunday 16th.
Closing ceremony with prizes. Concrete Strip beach 11am. Free food and beer

Registration cost:
US $120.00 (EC $325). The all inclusive ticket will cover all transportation to all events, a  hash T- shirt, lunch on Friday, lunch and beer on Sunday and a welcome pack. Payment will be done at the opening ceremony on Tuesday. Register now so we can everything ready for you to collect at the opening ceremony.

Allamanda Beach Resort is offering discounted rates for visiting hashers during the period of the Grenada Interhash 2024. Mention that you are participating in the Grenada Interhash when you book. They are located on the shores of Grand Anse Beach and are within 15 minutes drive from the capital, St. George’s. All  rooms include air-conditioning, refrigerator, in-room safe box, direct dial telephone, direct TV, private balcony and coffee maker. They are offering  the following rates:
